Not all detector tubes are the same! Draeger-Tubes® with the accuro pump provide the most accurate results. Many Draeger tubes offer a standard deviation of +/- 10% in the results. This is the result of our more than 60 years of colorimetric tube manufacturing and the consistent volume provided by the bellows pump design. Quality assurance is achieved by individually calibrating each lot of Draeger-Tubes®. Each batch is then tested at regular intervals, over the two-year shelf life, to ensure accuracy throughout the life of the tubes.
See the difference for yourself! The larger diameter of Draeger-Tubes® makes it easy to read. Well-spaced graduation marks allow for distinct and decisive measurement results. The color changes of the reagents are well defined over the entire length of the stain. Many tubes offer a dual calibrated scale so that you can interpret the results without using multiplication factors.
Although many Draeger-Tubes® require more than one stroke, they often provide measurement results in less time. You not only get the benefit of faster analysis; the larger sample volume provides better statistical precision.
More gases and more measuring ranges than any other manufacturer. Draeger offers more than 200 tubes to accurately measure more than 500 different gases. You can measure ambient air for health and safety levels, and optional equipment allows you to measure flue gases, motor vehicle exhaust components, samples from pressurized gas lines, and contaminants in compressed air and other technical gases. Other specialized tubes measure over a period of hours or an entire work shift to indicate daily exposure levels.
Specific reagents used in Draeger-Tubes® are chosen to provide not only the most accurate results, but also the most specific possible. Our use of precoats on many tubes (such as benzene) removes other potential interfering gases (eg aromatic hydrocarbons) so that you measure only the target chemical and get only the results you want. This design allows you to measure specific gases in a complex environmental environment found in the measurement area.
